It sounds like you have shocks like the Lippert Components Bolt-On Shock Kit # LC281281 on just one of the axles of your tandem axle trailer. If that is the case, adding a kit to each axle will absolutely help improve the ride of your 5th wheel trailer.
Putting this kit on both axles is going to allow for more absorption of vibration and road shock than having shocks on one axle; it will absolutely give you a more comfortable ride compared to what you have now.

We do have shocks that will fit the 6,000 lb axles on your Coachmen 5th wheel, though not specific replacements if you were referring to OEM shocks. Instead, what we can offer are aftermarket shocks that will greatly improve your ride and fit 6,000 lb axles (which are 3" diameter axles). The shock kit that will work is the following:
